Sarracenia

**Plants from the nursery are send bare root ready for you to pot on**

Sarracenia are very easy to grow and care for.  Plants can be grown out doors in a full sun position or grown in a greenhouse or window sill.

The main requirements are lots of sunshine, rain water and a suitable potting compost - Peat and Perlite, coir and perlite (must be free salt and chemical free - you can buy organic coir from Fertile fibre), coir husk ( Fertile fibre) and Melcourt bark and perlite (not all carnivorous plants like Melcourt).  I offer a selection of compost mixes on the website.

In Winter the plants are dormant so you will receive a plant that has had its old pitchers removed so if you see pictures of pitchers don't expect to receive in full growth  in Winter!
